Short Tour of PEGASUS BRIDGE

One of the very first assaults on D Day was to seize the Canal and Orne bridges north of Caen. Thank to archive pictures and maps I will explain you why this mission was so vital and what happened on June 6 1944. I will also tell about the local resistance.

Then we will go together to Commonwealth War cemetery  at Ranville : if you don't have a car, we can walk to, it's a 2 km walk on easy terrain.
